A History of Bringing Performing Arts Opportunities to Children and Adults in Mobile.
Since 2012, we have served for arts organization to pool resources under one umbrella - enabling our community to enjoy art, dance, theater, music, and movement.
Azalea City Center for the Arts was established in 2012 to serve as an umbrella organization to bring together instructors, programs, and other enterprises in various disciplines of the arts under one roof. The Center was founded by Chris Paragone (Sunny Side Theater) and Daniel Driskell (Full Scale School of Music) as a way to enrich the lives of children and adults in our community by making art education in a variety of subjects more accessible to all. By uniting a diverse array of programs under one roof, Azalea City Center for the Arts has created an exceptional and lively atmosphere within its walls!
Currently, there are three resident programs located at the Center each of which are assessed a monthly fee for the use of the Center. Several other local groups and individuals contract space on an as needed basis.
At Azalea City Center for the Arts, we work together to coordinate activities and pool resources creating a unique, productive, and cost effective environment that is also convenient for its patrons. Whether you are looking for music, drama, dance, gymnastics, or afterschool care, you’ll find a home at the Center.
